French, late 19th / early 20th century. Empire style ormolu mounted chinoiserie encrier with landscape motif panel, famille jaune metal ink well base and pierced floral motif gilt bronze lid. Apparently unmarked. Approx. h. 3.625", w. 7.125".
Condition Report: Minor scratches and scuffing commensurate with age and use. Metal inkwell has hole to underside -- not distracting. Pleasing oxidation to bronze. Stable condition.
