This auction is for a fantastically beautiful figural Wm. Rodgers Silver Plate Brides Basket with two large pears and leaves. The frame has embossed flowers surrounding base. The glass is a Fabulous cased glass hand painted which I believe is a Pair Point Glass Glass Basket. The glass is beautifully decorated with has raised enamel decorated bowl with scroll and flower designs, crimp back side with rolled wave pleating design. Theflowers consist of Blue Forget Me Nots, Lilly of the Valley and a Yellow flower. Condition the glass is in great shape, frame with light tarnishing. Glass marked in paint A/938,, we found almost identical bowl marked Pairpoint. Frame 14'' Tall the bowl 3 7/8" and the Width at widest point 12". Over all good condition for its age, I have not polished it leaving as is for the new owner! !
