A BRASS SIX MONTH-GOING TABLE TIMEPIECE, PART LATE 18TH CENTURY AND LATER

4½-inch silvered dial signed and inscribed C Wieland, London, Six Months, Time Keeper, the earlier cylindrical movement with baluster turned steel pillars, massive spring barrel and chain fusee with Harrison's maintaining power, the high count train mounted on the frontplate, the later platform escapement with ratchet-tooth underslung lever and compensation balance, the plain drum case with a swing handle and turned feet,

16.5cm. 6½in. high (handle down)

Condition Report:
Dial in good condition. Movement is complete and would just run at cataloguing but is much in need of a clean and fresh oil, dial, hands and escapement later. Case in good condition . No winder.
