ENGLISH AND OTHER STERLING SILVER AND GLASS ARTICLES, LOT OF 12, most colorless, comprising a pair of individual syrup pitchers with English sterling rims and hinged lids by Hukin & Heath of Birmingham with 1908 date marks, featuring one engraved "RE" and the other "EE"; an assembled six-piece glass set of five "GRATED / CHEESE" shakers and an "INSTANT / COFFEE" container with sterling silver caps and round bases; a short glass compote with sterling stemmed foot; a cut glass hair receiver/dresser jar that included two matching sterling covers by Webster Co. of North Attleboro, MA consisting of a hair receiver example and a solid example with "M" initial; another sterling cover by Webster Co. with engraved "R H" initials; and an opal glass vase with sterling overlay of a flower bouquet to side and silver rim. Each marked for sterling fineness, some with maker's marks. Total weight of three sterling covers: 4.540 ozt. Late 19th/20th century. Vase 6 1/4" HOA.
Condition Report: Good to very good overall condition with glass undamaged, silver with minor to moderate wear, surface scratches, and other imperfections including nicks, bending, and/or one or more dents; six-piece set with five caps currently frozen.
