SERIAL NUMBER: N/A, BARREL: 37", CALIBER .about .65 , MFG: Early 19th Century. 3rd Model Brown Bess Officer's fusil in original flintlock configuration. Lock is heavily pitting and any markings are not visible. The barrel has proofs at the left breech. The musket has the usual brass hardware. CONDITION: Fair Metal has a dark brown patina with heavy pitting. There are no lock legends visible. Missing both sling swivels and several barrel pins. The stock shows heavy wear with scattered damage and repairs. The action is crisp and the bore is dark. An example of a scarce musket. ANTIQUE
