ENGLISH CHIPPENDALE YEW WOOD HIGHBOY, C. 1780, H 72", W 42", D 20" Yew wood veneer on pine, having a beveled cornice above two short drawers and three long drawers of graduated size, the lower case is fitted with three drawers, all having cockbeaded margins and pierced batwing brasses and escutcheon plates, raised on cabriole legs with shell carved knees and ball-and-claw feet.
