The headstock terminating with a flattened finial covered in tortoiseshell and mother-of-pearl, the fingerboard veneered in tortoiseshell and mother-of-pearl, the sound hole rose is an intricately pierced brass disk depicting a cittern player, inscribed to the back of the head with 'Preston Maker London' below.
