English two part mahogany secretary desk in the Chippendale taste, late 19th century or early 20th century, having a broken arch pediment surmounted a dentil frieze, above two astragal glazed doors opening to two shelves, resting on a slant lid desk with floral marquetry inlay opening to a fitted compartment, surmounting four graduated drawers, the whole rising on bracket feet, apparently unmarked.
Approximate dimensions: h. 82", w. 32.25" (at feet), d. 21.75".
Condition Report: Refinished, scattered minor chips and scuffs to finish, (1) 1/2" chip to upper left corner of slant front, pulls replaced.
