ENGLISH OR AMERICAN GEORGE III CHIPPENDALE MAHOGANY LADDER BACK SIDE CHAIR, featuring a pierced leaf-carved crest above three conforming splats, velvet upholstered seat on canted molded legs joined by an H-stretcher. Retains an old, possibly original surface with attractive blistering. Fourth quarter 18th century. 38 1/2" HOA, 22" WOA, 19" DOA.
