ENGLISH PRATTWARE PUZZLE PIPE.

Late 18th century. Twisted snake form pipe with a faun bowl and polychrome decoration. Some wear and a short firing separation. 5.25"l. Ex Benjamin Rapaport and pictured in his "Museum of Tobacco Art & History Guide Book".
Condition Report: Please note the photos have been corrected. Mouth piece has been repaired. Bowl lip has wear and small filled in flake, and some glaze flaking overall, stem has areas of wear where dark red dots of glaze have flaked, small dark stains, short firing separation and small spot of sticky residue which can be removed.
