Condition Report:
The canvas has not been lined but has numerous areas of surface cracking and stretcher marks. Puncture to centre of lower edge. There are surface abrasions along the upper edge. There is a thick layer of discoloured surface dirt and varnish. Scattered retouching throughout. The cigarette holder and right and left arms appear to have been added at a later date.
