Condition Report:
Examined in the frame. Oil on canvas, lined. The work is in fair condition, aside from surface dirt and dust; yellowed varnish; scattered craquelure; a few isolated losses; and frame abrasion along upper left and right edges. Two areas of restoration visible to the naked eye on the rear of the black rabbit and at upper center. Under UV: varnish fluoresces green unevenly. Fine retouches in the background in addition to aforementioned repairs. Some old inpainting along the top of the rabbit in the hutch. Offered in a gold frame with wheat motifs. Ready to hang in its current state.
