Condition Report:
Original unlined condition. The work is in generally fair condition, aside from minor surface dirt and dust; scattered faint craquelure with minor associated lifting at upper right; isolated pin dot losses and small areas of abrasion; and stretcher bar marks visible parallel to all edges. Under UV: varnish fluoresces green unevenly.There are three areas of old brushy retouching in sky, somewhat visible to the naked eye, and some sparse, fine retouches. A horizontal line of pin-dot retouches extends below the dog's belly and up to the sky. Ready to hang in its current state.
