Condition Report:
Canvas appears to be thinly lined. The image reads well, though there is some thinness in the darker colors and the varnish is slightly yellowed. Minor accretions are visible here and there like in the clouds at upper left. There is a thin line of retouching of about 3 in. that has discolored and is visible to the naked eye in the ground at bottom center. Inspection under UV shows scattered, small spots of retouches here and there like in the background at right. Painting can hang as is. Offered framed.
