Brass, engraved with latticework and scrolls, and gilt. Octagonal base plate with recessed compass. Hinged hour ring and graduated arc, and hinged, curved plumb-bob holder. The rear of the compass features various latitudes of different cities. Leather-covered case (highly worn).
8 × 8 × 7 cm.
The hour ring, possibly replaced.
