Condition Report:
The painting is unlined. The surface is stable, though there are some patches of thinness to the paint in the pyramids, either deliberate on the part of the artist or the result of cleaning in the past. There are a few very minor retouches visible under ultraviolet light: in the robes of the two right-most standing figures in the foreground and of the water carrier walking towards the bank; some specks in the lower sky around the sphinx, a 1-cm spot in the sky on the right; and another in the sky upper left.
