E.S. Fox, Athens NY 2 Gallon Blue Dec Stoneware Ovoid c.1838-1843
[ translate ]
Another fine Athens, NY stoneware ovoid, this one being a 2 gallon jug marked E.S. Fox Athens. Nice overall condition with light fry on the cobalt decoration but no damage found. Stands 12" to lip and 9.5" at its fattest. A rare mark and a prime example.
