ETRUSCAN 18K GOLD & CELESTE BLEU ENAMEL BANGLE BRACELET

c.1875, crafted using applied bead/granulation, wirework, and floret accents amongst flawlessly inlayed 'Celeste Bleu' Enamel – accented by swaths of floral/florets. This superb piece is securely crafted using a push button clasp, and figure eight safety.

Notes: The Etruscan civilization lasted from the 8th century BCE to the 3rd and 2nd centuries BCE. In the 6th century the Etruscans expanded their influence over a wide area of Italy. They founded city-states in northern Italy, and to the south, their influence expanded down into Latium and beyond. Etruscan art was produced by the Etruscan civilization in central Italy between the 9th and 2nd centuries BC. From around 600 BC it was heavily influenced by Greek art, which was imported by the Etruscans, but always retained distinct characteristics. FWIW: Most Etruscan Revival jewelry was created between 1860-1875.
