EUGÈNE PRINTZ
TABLE-BIBLIOTHÈQUE

circa 1928
walnut, oak, brass
monogrammed EP and stamped MODEL DEPOSE FOREIGN
23¾ x 23½ x 27 in. (60.3 x 59 x 68.5 cm) closed

Condition Report:
Overall in very good condition. Wood surfaces present with very faint surface scratches and some shallow indentations, concentrated to the top of the table and the shelves of the piece and consistent with age and gentle use. Tabletop with some hairline separation along the grain of the wood, consistent with the natural aging process of the material over time. Edges of piece presents with very minor indentations and some scuffing, concentrated to where the piece unfolds and consistent with its intended use. Lower shelves of piece with minor staining, consistent with age and gentle use. One minor hairline separation to wood on one area surrounding hardware, only visible upon close inspection. The brass hardware presents with minor rubbing, only visible upon close inspection. The table is made of three interconnected diamond-shaped tables linked via brass fixtures; it is fully functional and easy to reconfigure. The walnut figurations are particularly fine on this innovative creation by Printz.
