Condition Report: A few paint chips and an old repair to the canvas. JMD original canvas with four old patches. Original canvas, stretcher and frame. Areas, where patches are visible on verso, have areas of old in-paint and restoration above sitter's elbow, upper left corner. in sky above sitter's head is restoration that extends 3/4 of the canvas, 12" long, 1/4" high. Evidence of older over-painting highlighting the white robe below the breasts. Older restoration highlighting foreheard and nose.MInor in-painting at sitter's right side of the neck. Her right wrist and hand appears to have an older restoration. When viewed with UV light, painting is quite appealing and the restoration is not obvious.
