SSP. An excellent condition and exceedingly rare piece from Signal Gas & Oil Company, Los Angeles, California. This rare Signal "Diesel Fuel" porcelain pump plate is a very scarce piece of Signal advertising and shows a "Red Light" stop light graphic. CONDITION: Sign is in overall excellent condition throughout showing excellent color & gloss in the black, red & yellow with no areas of chipping in the inner fields. Sign shows one small nick at the top mounting hole as well as one light chip at the lower mounting hole, but overall brilliant. The outer edge is in outstanding condition showing only a few light areas of wear. One of the only examples of this variation of the Signal Diesel pump plates to ever sell publicly, and an excellent chance at an extreme west coast rarity in very high grade. Condition: (9.0).
