EXCELLENT ITHACA 1911-A1 .45 ACP PISTOL

SERIAL NUMBER 1887193 BARREL 5" CALIBER .45 ACP MANUAFCTURED 1944. Stunning Ithaca 1911-A1 pistol with parkerized finish with brown checkered Keyes pattern grips. Stamped checkered short trigger narrow checkered hammer with checkered arched mainspring housing, checkered safety and slide release. Blue finished H.S. (High Standard) barrel with 2 WW2 era blue finished magazines marked on lips "L" and "S". Frank J Atwood inspected with "P" proof next to magazine release and "P" proof inspected forward of rear sight. Slide marked with 2 Line Ithaca address. Bright polished feed ramp and bright Ordnance wheel marking on frame. CONDITION. Extremely fine with most all finish with slight thinning on front strap and extreme high points. Bore is excellent, Action operates properly. Pistol is stored in contemporary cardboard display box. C&R
