FLIPPER".Issued 1942 to 1943, 12", 7" blued blade with medial ridge, blackened steel crossguard & bulbous tapered brass crosshatched handle, scarce "pancake flipper" shaped belt attachment, leather sheath. CONDITION: very fine overall, blade retains most all its original finish, good point, balance equally fine, some loss of paint on grip where handled. PROVENANCE: Dave Berenson estate collection.
