EXPERIMENTAL UNDERWATER REEL LURE IN ORANGE & BLACK
This c. 1933 “Hollow Head” uses the tail section of a Charmer Minnow and pairs it with a grooved, molded aluminum head. Sources cite less than a dozen known examples in collections. Hardware includes the usual pair of double hooks, a U-shaped wire belly hanger, and the reduced-size bowtie style rear prop found on similar experimental lures. A rare and unique bait grading Very Good or better, deserving an elevated place in an advanced collection. From the Stephen & Christine Rebic collection. Dimensions: 2 - 3/4" L.
