A hoodlum throttles a blonde in a bog as Death looks on, eager to get his bony mitts on a fresh recruit. Inside the pages, mostly unknown hacks spin crude tales of murder and depravity, with stabbings, strangulation, bludgeoning, grave-robbing, gangland executions, and other hideous activities depicted in disturbingly childlike illustrations. One weird panel shows a busty beauty dead on a coroner's slab, a sheet barely containing her fleshy amplitude, an image sure to have induced necrophiliac stirrings in at least a few wayward tots.
