Superb antique 18k yellow gold Italian made snuff box with hand engraved decoration and alternating bands of blue and white enamel. Box is extremely fine and crisp. Measurements: 3-3/8" x 2-1/4", with a height, or thickness of 9/16". Gross weight is 148.3 grams. Marked "750" & "233 FL" (Florence city mark is faint). Circa 1940's (The absence of a five-pointed star on the registry mark would date this piece between 1938 and 1968). Condition: (Excellent).
