The Walther MPL (Maschinenpistole Lang) SMG was a favorite of the German Police. IT is an open bolt, blowback operated, select-fire submachine gun. Black phosphate finish on all exposed metal surfaces. Left side non-reciprocating knurled charging handle. Right side folding metal stock. Ambidextrous safety selector. Hooded post front sight. , Fixed peep and blade style rear sight. Brown bakelite type grip panels. Imported through Inter American in Sacto. CA. MAGS: 2 steel 32 rd. CONDITION: Matte black finish w/ period correct thinning, accentuated on high areas and in areas of mechanical intervention. Top grip screw is absent. Bright bore w/ strong rifling.
