Spectacular collection chess ideal for collectors (sold by Planeta de Agostini in installments and impossible to obtain nowadays) from the acclaimed saga written by J. R. R Tolkien, and masterfully made into a film by Peter Jackson.

This chess consists of a wonderful original frameless board of 51x51 cm which represents a map of all the places in which the events of the saga take place and a magnificent complete set of 32 original lead pieces hand-painted with a lot of details and very realistic. They represent the different characters of “The Lord of the Rings" movies. These pieces are quite considerable in size, ranging between 6. 5 and 9. 5 cm. Many of the pieces show on their base a unique reference for each piece where it shows the position of the piece at the beginning of the game: pawn, knight, bishop, rook, queen and king. All the pieces are different and this makes it a unique chess.

This lot is in good condition. There are slight but visible cracks on the chess board that are visible in pictures. It will be properly packed and sent with a shipping code.
