Note: Film director Billy Wilder was known to take naps on sawhorses while on set. A friend of Charles and Ray Eames, they presented him with this prototype of this chair in 1968 hoping to give him a more comfortable and attractive alternative.
Condition Report: Two small cushions detached, one with a small tear to the zipper. The leather with creasing and wear. Nice patina, structurally sound. In good vintage condition.
