Earliest Miller's Reversible Minnow
Exceptionally rare first version minnow, 4" in length, the slender wood body finished in uncataloged red head with hand painted gold spots and mottled green mid/rear sections. Constructed with through-body fine wire, unmarked brass and gunmetal reversible spinners, Miller's silver washered screw eye rigging and the original barrel swivel, the condition is about Ex- on this historically significant type 1 minnow. One of the rarest examples of a NY wooden lure to come to auction. For even the most advanced lure collection, this would be a centerpiece bait - we are unaware of another.
