Early 1970's Colt Lord & Lady Derringer Set .22 Short in Presentation Box

Manufactured in the early 1970s. This Lord and Lady number 4 set is consecutively serial numbered 51124 and 51125. Both feature 2.5" single shot side swing out barrels, half moon front sights and spur triggers. Both stamped on top of the barrel "COLT", and left side "22 CAL SHORT/COLTS P.F.A. MFG CO INC/HTFD., CT, USA". The Lady is finished in a gold plate with pearl like acrylic grip panels. The Lord is finished with a black barrel, gold plated frame and smooth wood walnut grip panels. Set comes in a wood, red velveteen lined presentation case with the Colt brand on the top center lid. CALIBER: .22 Short. S/N: 51125DER/51124DER. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
Condition Report: Lord retains 95% original finish with some light handling wear. The Lady retains 60% original finish, showing some oxidation. Muzzle has a tiny chip of the gold plate missing. Both show great bores and mechanics. Box shows some scratches and faint dings.
