Condition Report: Some various makers include John J. Bangs of Chillicothe, Cyrus Platt of Delaware, Hezekiah S. Sprague of Newark, Newell Matson of Painesville, Philip Zoellner of Portsmouth, Benjamin Allen of Springfield, and William T. Stark of Xenia. Varying wear and dents commensurate with age and use. A few examples with considerably more wear. A few examples marked sterling. Most examples monogrammed.
