Early 19th century British School. A pair of Silhouettes portraits of ladies
one facing right wearing a turban, dress and laced edge fichu, the other facing left wearing a bonnet and a dress with a frilled collar, painted on card, black lacquered papier mache frames with gilt metal mounts and acorn and oak leaf hangers, together with two other silhouettes, one of a gentleman facing left wearing a broad lapelled jacket, stiff collar and a cap, and lady facing left her hair tied in a bun with a comb and in ringlets, wearing a puffed sleeve dress, oval, both bronzed and painted on card in similar frames (4)
overall 14.8 x 12.4cm.
Condition: Condition commensurate with age. Card toned to all four. lady wearing a turban slight warp to top right hand corner of frame with laminated section separating. Portrait of lady in ringlets missing original suspension ring
