Lying on his side holding a toy whip, seated beside a black dog, watercolour on ivory, under convex glass, black lacquered papier mache frame, gilt brass fruiting vine hanger, hand written paper label verso ' Walter reed youngest brother of Elizabeth Faulconer wife of Thomas Faulconer. This picture was always called "Little Walter" as he died when a young boy - uncle to Robert Faulconer'

Condition: Slight bowing to ivory. minor losses to bottom edge and corner of ivory Craquelure to to frame
