An authentic Early 20th-Century Antique Peking Chinese Art Deco Runner Rug (circa 1920s), hand-knotted from premium wool, featuring a sophisticated open-field design that has beautifully oxidized into a muted, variegated shade of taupe grey-brown with subtle lavender undertones. This distinctive central field is framed by a vibrant turquoise teal inner guard line and a spacious sandy beige outer border, elegantly decorated with winding floral branches, plum blossoms, and traditional stylized foliage in shades of electric blue, mustard yellow, and deep purple. Size: 58 x 31 in. Inventory # 050115 EX.

Condition
The textile is in an antique condition, exhibiting a low, weathered wool pile throughout the center that exposes the horizontal foundation threads from decades of honest domestic use, giving it a highly coveted vintage patina that beautifully complements both classic Asian art collections and modern mid-century or transitional interiors.
