Lonicer, ed]. 8vo, measures: 160 x 105 mm; top margins trimmed. Contemporary blindstamped pigskin over boards, brass clasps and hinges; outer and inner joints sound, both volumes browned and soiled with some minor grime. Volume I (Iliad) lacking both clasps, with noticeable 60 mm gouge at back panel center. Both volumes internally generally clean. Volume I with woodcut titles and printer's devices at colophon (in Greek); some Greek and Latin annotations and scholia in brown ink on pastedowns and on (old/contemporary) blanks. Volume II (Odyssey, etc.) with second woodcut title and printer's device at conclusion to Hymns; lacking blanks, Greek and Latin annotations on pastedowns and at margins passim. Collation and foliation complete. Collation: Iliad: 280 ff A-Z, AA-MM8; Odyssey: 251 ff a-z, A-I8, aa-gg8.
