(Early Continental Printing : French Subjects) 1 Vol. (Bourdigne, Jean de). Hystoire agregative des Annalles et cronicques Danjou. (Paris: Anthoyne Couteau), (1529) [i.e. January, 1530]. Folio, 18th century gilt-paneled calf, rebacked, 4 of the 17th century richly gilt-foliate spine compartments and the 17th century morocco spine label laid down, red stained edges, marbled endpapers; extremities rubbed. Gothic type, title in red and black, full-page woodcut, device of Galliot Du Pre on recto of last leaf. Some spotting and minor dampstaining at edges of front and back matter, some foxing to last text leaf, but internally generally clean, trimmed, heads often shaved close, a few printed top borders compromised. Leaf size: 309 x 204 mm (and slightly smaller). Early ink ownership at blank bottom margin of title page. Collation: b4, A-X6, AA-MM6; [4], 197, [1] leaves, last text leaf numbered, CCVII.
