Early European Carved Marble Torso Venus

Italian carved marble torso of a nude woman, likely Venus, ca. 2-4 century CE. The figure has an upright posture; the remnants of the figure's proper right arm suggest that the figure may have been depicted with her right hand extended. The artwork rests on a square black marble base.
