Substantial vintage ashtray carved from pale green onyx, displaying attractive natural banding, cloudy white veining, and warm honey-toned mineral variations throughout the stone. The thick rectangular form is shaped with clipped corners and a deep oval central well, giving the piece a solid, architectural appearance. The polished surface highlights the translucency and natural character of the stone, while shallow rests along the rim complete the functional design.
