Harry Bertoia, Italian-American, 1915-1978. A 1950's early "Sonambient" sounding sculpture. 256 Beryllium Copper tonal rods with angled tops, figured in 19 rows, fixed to a gridded square base. Unsigned, etched "ANACONDA D PHOS BE" at base. Some bends to rods throughout, discoloration to patina and buildup to base. 4 3/4 x 4 1/4 x 16" high overall.
