Early Hardy Bougle Fly Reel
An original alloy Bougle, circa 1912-1916 with a strapped tension screw on the rim, three sizes of circular perforations on the spool face and a full-length foot attached to the foot bridge with four screws. A "double" stamped winding plate that reads simply "Bougle Reel" is found opposite the ivorine grasp on this VG+ condition example, measuring 3" in diameter (measured pillar to pillar).
