(Early Manuscripts) 1 Vol. Small-format Holy Week Antiphonary. No place, no date [but presumed Continental/monastic scribal production, ca. late-17th, early-18th century]. Measures: 8 x 5 inches (200 x 140 mm). Old paneled blind stamped sheepskin over boards; joints and hinges sound, panels rubbed and scuffed and corners rubbed. 56 leaves laid paper, all of which filled-in recto/verso in Latin black-letter hand; evenly browned and toned. Margins ruled in pencil; 4 lines text in black ink above staves of 4 lines in red, with square notes in black; and initials in red and blue alternating, two of which more highly decorated in red, blue, and black. Some Latin marginalia.
