The NAACP membership card and flier were issued in the tenth year of the organization's existence. The NAACP leaflet is scarce; WorldCat records only 5 institutional holdings. CORE, together with SNCC, became nationally prominent during its youthful "Freedom Rides" to the segregated South in the 1960s. All its publications are surprisingly scarce, including the CORE-LATOR, which was issued from about 1947 to 1965. No institution has a complete set of the periodical.
