Early Navajo Hand Woven Rug, Two Grey Hills, 57" x 76.5"
This rug appears to be early vintage. It was hand woven with home spun wool. The pattern is believed to be Two Grey Hills with double diamond center. Overall approx measures 57" x 76.5". From the collection of Daniel Cutrone, professor at Cal State Dominguez Hills, specializing in preserving the four corners of Native American Indians. There is some parting of the weavings on a few places, the warping is still there. severaler smaller holes, and a larger hole in the corner. Great piece of history.
