Early Pflueger Supreme Casting Reel
A Douglas patent "Pflueger Supreme - Level Wind Free Spool - Anti Backlash" and "Pflueger Patent. Jan 22, 1907, Douglas Pat. June 16, 1908 - Other Patents Pending" marked casting reel, with intact "ears" at each end of the level-winding device, serial number 2378 on the tail plate and drag switch on the head cap. Condition is about VG+ with a few surface scratches and though appearing original, two different colored grasps.
