(Early Printing : Judaica) 1 Vol. (Amsterdam Haggadah, 1695). Seder Haggadah Shel Pessah KeMinhag Ashkenaz U'Sepharad [transcribed from Hebrew]. Amsterdam: Solomon Proops, 1695. Folio, later plain wrappers. Additional engraved title, 14 cooper engravings in the text, lacking the map. Some dust smudging - primarily at bottom third of sheets, occasional dampstaining - mostly in margins, scattered spotting, moderate to heavy foxing to verso of leaf 3.4 and recto of leaf 4.1, other scattered light foxing. Old ink ownership at foot of letterpress title and last letterpress page. Leaf size: 12 x 7 1/2 inches (304 x 90 mm), collation: [1], 1-6.4, 7.2 [lacking engraved map at back] for 27 leaves. Engraved title with Moses and Aaron flanking the text, above which are 6 roundels with biblical scenes, followed by letterpress title, text of the Haggadah. Housed in worn 18th century (?) pollish embroidered silk sleeve.
First edition of this Amsterdam Haggadah with engraved illustrations.
