Early Republic Period Chinese huaniao hua scroll, after Zou Yigui, (Chinese 1686-1772), ink and color on paper, laid to silk, depicting a long tailed bird perched in the branches of a prunus tree intertwined with peony branches, the whole against a cobalt ground, having a poem by Guozhi Liang (Chinese 1723-1786) at upper right, and a signature at lower left, 38"h x 15.75; overall 68.5"l x 23"w.
