[ translate ]

Early vintage brass Hanukkah menorah, circa the 1950s, designed in the traditional hand-crafted style of the Land of Israel and Jerusalem.

The rear panel (back) of the Hanukkah menorah is decorated with fine hand-engraving of exceptional craftsmanship, presenting at its center a depiction of the Western Wall surrounded by foliate decorations, a menorah, and arches.

Mounted along the base of the Hanukkah menorah is a row of 8 round, substantial oil/candle cups, alongside a raised dedicated base for the shamash (positioned on the right side of the menorah).

The front of the base bears a clearly engraved Star of David and the text of the blessing: "to kindle the Hanukkah light" (להדליק נר של חנוכה).

The reverse of the piece displays the original traditional soldering work with the cup joints, and a concave structure convenient for holding or hanging.
Width: 20 cm.
Height: 10.5 cm.
265 g.

In generally good overall condition: the brass body is entirely intact, with no fractures, distortions, or structural flaws. All cups and the shamash are securely attached and soldered to the original base. Wear and patina: the Hanukkah menorah displays a natural, dark, deep patina of old metal that has oxidized appropriately over the years, together with light authentic signs of use and minor traces of candle wax/oil residue in the depth of the cups.
