Early loop seat Saddle marked "P.A. Wilkerson, 1871-1941", with nice tooling. Wilkerson opened his shop 1890-1920 in Gillette & Buffalo, Wyoming. He went to work for N. Porter around 1930 and is rumored to have sold bootleg whisky at one time. Saddle has desirable high front fork with 15 1/2" cantle, 16" seat, 24" tapederos, marked in 3 places. Leather is supple. NOTE- TAPADEROS ARE MARKED MILES CITY.
