Earrings and brooch set with Egyptian faience beads
A matching set of earrings and a brooch set with Egyptian faience beads. The Egyptian light blue faience tubular beads, Late Period, c. 664 - 30 BC, are attractively set into a brooch, with rectangular low carat gold bar and two dangling beaded elements, 2 1/8 x 2 1/4 in (5.4 x 5.7 cm). The modern scarab earrings are well-matched with screw on backings. Ex Iskander family collection, acquired prior to 1969; thence by descent.
